Scheme 3 takes land from part of 8 villages: Sodhi, Sangasar, Otariya, Cher, Panchi, Sandhida, Mundi, Dholera. It covers about 66.60 sq km, and the stage it has reached is sanctioned draft, ordered by SIRAA/06/2013/439 on 24 October 2013.
A town planning scheme is a government order that redraws all the plot boundaries in one area at once. A share of everyone's land is kept back for roads, parks, schools and land the authority can sell, and each owner gets a smaller regular plot in return. This page is the record for scheme 3.
What is not written down anywhere is how much of each of those 8 villages sits inside the scheme. Every sheet says part villages and no document puts a number on the part.
The record itself
Stage is the field to read first. Draft means proposed and not yet binding. Preliminary means sanctioned, so it can be acted on. Development plan allocation means it appears on the 2012 plan and nothing further reached us.

The document itself is a DRAFT town planning scheme ('SUBMITTED U/S 48 (I) OF THE GTP & UD ACT 1976 & U/S 17 OF THE GSIR ACT - 2009', dtps3.pdf p1). The 24-10-2013 notification sanctions that draft scheme subject to a 16-item Schedule. It is a sanctioned DRAFT scheme, not a final scheme.

Among the six Development Plan rows it is number 4 by area, at 15.8 per cent of the 422.42 sq km the six rows sum to. Rank, share and sum are arithmetic done by this site.
Which villages it takes land from
The sheet calls these part villages. That phrase is doing a lot of work: only some of each village is inside the scheme, and no document we hold says how much. If your land is in one of these villages, being on this list does not by itself mean your land is in the scheme.

The last two columns describe the whole village as it was declared in 2009, not the slice of it inside this scheme. Nothing in our documents gives that slice in hectares or as a percentage. This is explained further on the part villages page.

The government order behind it
A notification here means the signed order that puts the scheme into effect, printed in the state gazette. It is the difference between a plan somebody drew and a rule that binds land.
