Take the data
Everything on this site can be taken away and checked. The two source files are published exactly as they are, and four tables built from them are regenerated every time the site is.
There is no form and no sign-up. The two JSON files are byte for byte copies of the data this site is generated from, so if a page here ever disagrees with them, the data file is right and the page is wrong.
The CSV files are the same information laid out as spreadsheets, with one row per scheme, per village or per rule. Columns we calculated are marked DERIVED so you never mistake our arithmetic for a government figure.

Read these columns carefully
- Any column in villages.csv beginning DERIVED is our arithmetic. Everything else in that file was copied from a document.
- An empty cell means the document is silent, not that we failed to read it. A blank order column means no government order exists in our documents.
- Areas in tp-schemes.csv are planning areas from the 2012 Development Plan, whose own column heading says approximate. They are not surveyed measurements.
- The quote column in provisions.csv is exact wording. Two rows are marked partial, and those quotations stop before the end of the clause.
- land-class-term-audit.csv is a search result, rerun every build. A zero means the word appears nowhere in that data file.
Using it is simple. The documents underneath are Government of Gujarat, DSIRDA and Census of India publications, and this site is a compilation of them. When a citation matters, cite the underlying document and page, which every row carries, rather than citing us.
