Gorasu
Gorasu is one of the twenty two villages whose land was declared part of Dholera SIR in 2009. It holds 1,219 survey numbers across 31.1763 sq km. No town planning scheme sheet we hold names it.
A revenue village is the unit Gujarat keeps its land records in. Every plot in Gorasu belongs to this village on paper, and the number that identifies it, its survey number, is issued within this village.
That silence is not proof that Gorasu is outside every scheme. Four of the eight schemes carry no list of villages at all, so a village can sit inside one and appear nowhere on paper.

How the village is spelled, and its census identity
All three documents agree on the spelling. The 2009 gazette, the DSIRDA planning map and the 2011 census sheet all print Gorasu. Nine of the twenty two villages are spelled differently from one document to the next, which is set out on the spellings page. This is not one of them.

These are Census of India 2011 codes. Village codes get reissued between censuses, so do not treat them as current Local Government Directory codes. We had no Local Government Directory code available, and no Gujarati spelling of any of the twenty two names, so neither has been transliterated or guessed at.

- How much of the village is inside any scheme. Every sheet says part villages and not one of them puts a figure on the part.
- What class any particular piece of land in it is. Neither dataset records a land class against a village or a plot, which is set out in full on the land classes page.
- The Gujarati spelling. No source document carries one, so the field is empty rather than transliterated by us.
- Anything about people. Population, schools, water and other census details were not extracted. This record carries names, codes and the 2009 figures only.
